'The Trees They Do Grow High' is a traditional folk song popularly supposed to have had a factual basis in an arranged marriage in the early 17th century. Tradition has it that the ballad is originally Scottish but there is little concrete evidence of this and a number of the musical variants suggest an Irish ancestry.

Singer-Songwriter and classically-trained vocalist Elizabeth Lockhart releases "Master Key," her first solo album. The album features luxuriously orchestrated dramas in an operetta portraying young love grown wiser.
